SL Depreciation support for AssetWIN 2007
Naperville, IL (September 12, 2007) -- In conjunction with its recent release of the core AssetWIN 2007 asset tracking system, Asset Systems has announced the availability of its straight-line depreciation module. This optional module is designed for small business, public organizations and not-for-profits who require a simple depreciation as a by-product of their asset management efforts.
“We have found that organizations most accurately track and account for their assets if a single database is used that can address the needs of both the accounting department and line management,” observed Alden Snyder, president of Asset Systems. “Unfortunately, most organizations use separate systems where information about movements and retirements of assets is never provided to the accounting department and results in asset ledgers being woefully out of date.”
This version is written under the .NET architecture and is compatible with Windows Vista, XP and 2000. Either Access of SQL Server databases are supported.
