AssetWIN® lets you define how assets are managed. The system supports both an Asset Inventory, where product is tracked at the individual item level, and a Product Inventory, where product is managed by like description. The system supports the creation of multiple inventory allowing groups of assets to be managed separately. For example, you may want to initially use AssetWIN® to manage IT assets, and later expand it to manage other asset groups, such as telephone equipment, furniture or even consumable supplies. Because each database is password protected, data autonomy is assured and, of course, a transaction history is maintained, providing a detailed audit trail on activity.
AssetWIN® supports unlimited user fields, letting you control the information to track. A user defined field can be created as text, numeric, currency, true/false or date. They can also establish file links or URL references if you prefer. All user defined fields are searchable and sortable for either reports or queries. Once labeled, it is instantly supported in AssetWIN®'s two reporting tools, Standard Reports and Report Writer. No need to purchase (and learn) an external report writer for custom report generation.
