Hardware/ Asset Labels
Asset Systems offers a wide range of scanning devices designed to fit a broad spectrum of requirements and budgets.  We adhere to several over riding principles in selecting which devices to support.  Each must be industrial grade designed to provide years of uninterrupted service.  Portable devices must provide a full function keyboard for easy key entry.  All devices must be thoroughly tested and based on proven technology.

	Wireless Wedge Devices
	Often users will have scanning requirements in static areas such as receiving docks, check-in/checkout stations or desktop deployment areas. We provide wireless scanners designed for mobile scanning within the Bluetooth coverage range. With cordless bar code reading, users have the freedom of movement required to quickly, safely, and comfortably read bar code data within a 33 foot (10m) range. The units we offer are designed with an intensive focus on durability and reliability. With no moving parts and robust housings, our devices will be available when needed, providing years of dependable service.
	Classic Batch Terminals
	To satisfy the need for wide range mobility, we offer several fully portable bar code scanners. Relying on batch processing, these devices can be deployed at any location without concern for network availability. Each unit features our DataCAP software that supports any type of transaction without the downloading of data or software. Because bar coded data is not always available, all batch terminals include a full function keyboard providing convenient, easy to use data entry. All units are rugged and highly reliable. They are designed to withstand years of daily use.
	WIFI Devices
	Our state of the art units are completely portable WIFI based devices designed for real time data collection. The Windows CE based terminal features easy to use 49 key full alphanumeric keyboard plus 2 side scan keys. To support a range of connectivity, each device supports communication through common 802.11b (WLAN) or Bluetooth technology. For the convenience of the user, data is displayed on a highly viewable 3.5" QVGA (240x320) graphic display and operates by Touch Screen with stylus or finger. The platform is light weight at only 20 oz, includes an integrated laser bar code scanner which auto discriminates all common symbologies and an optional photo imager to easily capture product standard graphics. Each device includes pre-loaded WIFI DataCAP software and docking/charging station.
	RFID EPC Gen2 Scanners
	Representing truly advanced technology, our units support this emerging technology. The chief advantage to RFID is that is does not require line of sight reading allowing greater distances and more discrete labeling. A rugged, industrial grade, PDA style reader supports the industry standard EPC Gen2 labels. Our devices both read and write any Gen2 compatible labels. The 240W X 320L pixel QVGA display provides an easy to read format in a wide range of light environments. This device includes both 802.11 and Bluetooth compatibly for flexibility in communications. Each device includes pre-loaded WIFI DataCAP software and docking/charging station.
	Asset Labels
	Having applied several million asset labels, we have learned that pre-printed labels are without exception the best choice for asset labels. Pre- printed labels are more flexible, have greater adherence properties, are more durable and represent a far superior value when compared to any on-demand technology. We offer a full range of custom or standard formats designed specifically for asset labeling. Unlike others, we guarantee our labels to be 100% readable and sequential (no skips in sequence).
